Maison du Malheur in worldwide campaign Heineken10-06-2013
From today, the Amsterdam band, Maison du Malheur will be the new sound in a worldwide television and advertising campaign of beer-brand Heineken. The commercial is on air in six continents: North- and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
Maison du Malheur is honored to be asked for this worldwide campaign, with their own distinctive sound. Songwriter and frontman J.P. Mesker: "Heineken was looking for an appropiate song for their campaign, and when they heard a track of us they immediately called and asked us to record a song for them." The band has recently released their album "Wicked Transmission" on Excelsior Recordings/Tikkeboemtsjing, has an impressive list of festivals this Summer and the second clubtour this Autumn is in the making.
