Joe Pug takes Frankie Lee for three unique NL shows this weekend

11-11-2015

Currently he's in the UK and tonight he playing a sold out St. Pancras Old Church in London. Joe Pug will however return to the Netherlands tomorrow for a little string of three unique shows:

13-NOV: Rotterdam (NL) @ V11 (presented by Rotown)
14-NOV: Eindhoven (NL) @ De Kapel (presented by Effenaar)
15-NOV: Utrecht (NL) @ Molenerf de Ster (presented by Ekko)

On "Windfall", Pug's latest LP on Loose Music, he steps away from the more traditional Americana for a folk-soul hybrid that places greater emphasis on his vocals. In sound, "Windfall" is more Jackson Browne or Amos Lee than Steve Earle or John Prine, and it’s a more-than-welcome shift that captures and delivers a stronger, more individual identity than Pug has shown on his first two records. On these dates he'll be taking his label mate Frankie Lee to open up. Frankie Lee's album is out now.
