The Harlem Gospel Travelers release "God's Love" and announce European tour dates

The Harlem Gospel Travelers return with a brand new single "God's Love" and announce a short European tour. 

Plucked from the depths of the Numero Group catalog, the group gives this hidden gem a modern, bright, exciting and refreshing spin. The track showcases George's phenomenal falsettos; his voice entrancingly soars. This, matched with the tight melodic harmonies from the rest of the group, makes it as if they are one voice. It's a strong blend that hasn't been displayed from The Harlem Gospel Travelers before.

The Harlem Gospel Travelers feature George Marage leading the way with his signature falsetto vocals Ifedayo Gatling and Dennis Bailey. To make the track their own, the group pulls inspiration from modern R&B and alternative music. They're taking their music, style, and look in a new direction. "This song is meant to be a hug when you need it...." member and co-producer Ifedayo explains, "....to make you smile when you want to cry. And most of all,  to make you feel loved."

The song was co-produced by artist/singer, Eli Paperboy Reed who discovered them, as they were students that he was mentoring as part of a gospel class he was teaching in NYC. As the students began to develop their own style and write songs, Eli decided they needed to get into the studio and put something down. So he enlisted the help of friends to serve as a band for his students, including drummer Aaron Frazer (Durand Jones & The Indications, The Flying Stars Of Brooklyn NY), and the results speak for themselves. Old-school, get up and shout southern gospel.

The Harlem Gospel Travelers are back with a brand new flamboyance and uplifting sound with ‘God’s Love’,  pulled from the Numero Group catalogue, which they have reworked and made into what can be defined as their own unique refreshing style, bringing a present-day R&B twist to an old hidden gem of a song. They will also be releasing a brand-new album later on this year.

In July The Harlem Gospel Travelers will come to Europe for a short string of shows in Spain and London. More dates to come in the fall:
