Tomorrow Matthew Logan Vasquez is moving to Norway. Actually not straight away, he'll first embark on a month long tour taking him everywhere from England to Scotland and from Germany via The Netherlands into Sweden and also his about to new home Norway. Find all dates at the bottom of this message.

Matthew Logan Vasquez is a face - and a voice - you might well recognize. The former frontman of Delta Spirit, he's a songwriter of unusual depth, of remarkable poetry. Turning solo, Matthew has been working on an album of new material, inspired by a life of ups and downs.

Musing on this recently, the singer said: "My point is that life is a struggle but how can you have optimism and hope if you don’t have something negative? Context is what makes it meaningful."

Cut Headed West off of his Does What He Wants album exemplifies this attitude - gilded Americana, it gleams with the promise of mythic California, twinkling in the distance:
