Mad Caddies announce an exclusive club show in the Netherlands in August
17-04-2024It’s been a while since an original album by Mad Caddies has seen the light of day, but now, we’re in luck. Arrows Room 117 their new release is out and we can announce an exclusive club show in the Netherlands in August.
Formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1995, the Mad Caddies quickly emerged as a unique force in the music scene with their original name "The Ivy League". Known for their energetic blend of ska and punk rock, they add unique touches of reggae and jazz to create a distinctive and catchy sound. The band's debut album, "Quality Soft Core," released in 1997, marked the beginning of a series of successful albums, including fan favorites like "Duck and Cover" and "Keep It Going." Over the years, the Mad Caddies have evolved, but their music always remains lively and engaging. Famous for their dynamic and party-like live performances, they have garnered a loyal fan base worldwide. The Mad Caddies continue to be celebrated in the ska and punk music circles, known for their unique sound and exhilarating shows.
Their last work was the 2020 EP House on Fire, while the last LP to date was the 2014 Dirty Rice. The Caddies’ last release, Punk Rocksteady, dated 2018, was a compilation of cover songs, so this makes Arrows Room 117 the first original full-length record in 10 years exactly.
