Cordovas announce European tour dates in June and July

28-02-2023

A band with one foot in the present and another in the past, Cordovas embrace the sound of classic Americana and country-rock, with The Band, The Grateful Dead, and The Allman Brothers Band as key influences and plenty of close harmonies and dueling guitar work. The group are led by bassist, vocalist, and songwriter Joe Firstman, who had recorded as a solo artist and led the house band on Last Call with Carson Daly before forming the Cordovas in 2011.

Cordovas are the brainchild of songwriter and musician Joe Firstman. Their latest full-length, Destiny Hotel is a work of wild poetry and wide-eyed abandon, set to a glorious collision of folk and country and groove-heavy rock-and-roll. In a major creative milestone for the Tennessee-based band. The album harnesses the freewheeling energy of their live show more fully than ever, all while lifting their songwriting to a whole new level of sophistication. The result is a batch of songs that ruminate and rhapsodize with equal intensity, inviting endless celebration on the way to transcendence.

Cordovas’ new record, produced by Cory Hanson (Wand), will be released in summer 2023 on ATO Records and with new tunes in their pockets we're happy to announce a string of European tour dates:
