Anthony D'Amato adds mainland Europe tourdates ahead of UK tour this fall

Produced by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit) and recorded with contributions from an Omaha all-star team including Conor Oberst and members of Bright Eyes, The Faint, and Cursive, Cold Snap is Anthony D'Amato's most ambitious record yet. Rolling Stone hailed it as "folk music raised on New Jersey grit" and named D'Amato an Artist You Need To Know, while Newsweek called his songwriting "smartly sweet."

The record follows D'Amato's 2014 New West debut, The Shipwreck From The Shore, which was inspired in part by his time studying with the Pulitzer Prize-winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon and earned raves on both sides of the pond, with NPR lauding that "he writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter" and Uncut proclaiming that his songwriting "echoes with early Bob Dylan." Songs from the record collectively cracked more than five million plays on Spotify and turned up on the ABC series Nashville.

D'Amato's latest release is a charity collection titled Won't You Be My Neighbor? The stripped-down EP reimagines unexpected tracks that have taken on new political weight in the modern era (from Woody Guthrie to Mr. Rogers) with all profits going to benefit The International Rescue Committee's refugee aid work around the world.

Already announced were the tourdates across the UK and Ireland where D'Amato will be supporting Ricky Ross. Added today are mainland tourdates ahead of these dates and a couple of more UK dates. See the full list below, including some dates with Otis Gibbs, Andrew Combs and Ian Felice!
