Sarah Shook & the Disarmers postpone European tour to 2022 and announce new release

21-06-2021

Sarah Shook and the Disarmers unfortunately have to move their 2021 tour dates into 2022. The tour will be moved one year ahead into August and September 2022. The good news is that they will have a brand new album coming out in 2022. More news on that to follow soon!

As the frontwoman for North Carolina's Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, singer/songwriter Sarah Shook offers up a full-bodied combination of the sound of vintage outlaw country -- with lyrics that waver between defiance and honest introspection -- and the fire of punk rock. Inspired by artists such as the Sex Pistols, Elliott Smith and Hank Williams, Sarah sings with confidence, control, and, at times, a hint of menace. The Disarmers match her on every track, coloring the tales of resilience and empathy with as much urgency as ever as well as a broader sonic sweep. It’s easy to hear Sarah as a close cousin to artists like Hurray for the Riff Raff and Margo Price.

Early 2022 Sarah Shook and the Disarmers will come with a followup on their beloved records "Sidelong" (2015) and "Years" (2018), which she will bring along to Europe next summer:
