Jerry Leger postpones Scandinavian dates and will be part of Rolling Stone's "At Home" series

06-05-2020

Jerry Leger And The Situation would have been entering the last weekend of their extensive European tour promoting their well received album Time Out For Tomorrow. As that's cancelled weeks ago we've been busy rescheduling the dates. At this point we're happy to announce the tour will be rescheduled to April and May 2021. The Scandinavian dates are announced today and more is to follow:

21/04/21: Örebro, SWE -  STÅ Pinxtos
22/04/21: Oslo, NO - Krøsset
23/04/21: Rungebu, No - Arnemoen Gård
24/04/21: Trondheim, NO - Moskus
25/04/21: Stockholm, SWE - Melodybox

In the meantime Jerry Leger hasn't been doing nothing. In fact he recorded and released Songs From The Apartment on Spotify. Jerry about this digital release:
These songs were actually mainly from the 2014-2019 period with one from 2013, ‘Leaving Now’. It was last month, during the 2nd week of high anxiety due to everything I was dealing with and I needed something therapeutic to do. It was in the back of my mind that I had countless demos of songs that nobody ever heard except me and Mike Timmins, who produced the last few albums. There were a lot of great ones that just were forgotten about. It was good to go through and put a collection together. It gave me a real sense of purpose. The timing was right to release these real intimate home recordings, recorded in my apartment in moments of isolation and a lot of us are in that position now. It’s gotten a nice response. I didn’t think anyone would hear these recordings so they’re very unguarded.

Beside that Jerry Leger announces that he'll be part in this live "At Home" series. A web series published by Rolling Stone, Magenta Musik 360, Musikexpress and Metal Hammer. May 8th at 19:00h Central European Time it's starting and includes a show of Jerry Leger, Rufus Wainwright and Die Sterne
